If you know me you know that I am a pretty big advocate of universal healthiness. I think it is a vital need for America, and I see now that it looks like we will get a large chuck of Democrats into congress, and though Obama is not officially for it I know that a large chuck of Democrats are. So what does this mean? That maybe just maybe we can get this started, however Republicans have turned a disaster into opportunity (don’t everyone gasp at once) and put forth the argument that since the economies is going nuts we have to watch out what we are spending money on.
Now I do agree that there are alot of issues in which we have to hold off on, but to me this is not one of them. I mean if the economies is that bad then just eat your money. Think about it you wouldn’t hold back on, education, police, firemen, or sanitation unless we where SO bad off that it didn’t matter would we? I mean didn’t England instate its health care system sometime almost directly after WWII, and they weren’t like us that just had one major attack on there soil. They where right there in the war. They where directly bombed daily. We a the richist country in the world, but we have to cut back on things like health care?
